Volunteers are vital to our ministry. Our vounteers put in approximately 350 hours each week! They come from all walks of life...retirees, students needing service hours, unemployed men and women, and teens. Men and women of all ages who are called to serve...it's fun, exciting and rewarding!


Pantry Staffing


Do you enjoy working with people?

Opportunities are available during client hours: stocking, packaging groceries, carry out, etc.

Food Sorting


We purchase food in bulk

and many items need to be broken down into smaller packages for our clients.

Clothing Sorting


Each week we receive a tremendous amount of clothing.

If you enjoy clothing, come join us in our clothing sorting area and have some fun!

Donation Pickup


Opportunities are available

at times to pick up product at various locations.

Maintenance


Do you like to clean?

We are always in need of individuals who provide support to our ministry by keeping our builing neat and clean. Areas of service: sweeping, trash, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, maintaining vehicles, etc.

Connecting


We have developed great relationships with individuals

and businesses in the community who provide excess product for our clients. Who do you know that might have a service or product that can be used at the BCAC? A few ideas: Food, clothing, shoes, personal product, etc.

Community Supper


BCAC partners with 1st Reformed Church of Byron Center

to provide a community supper each month at the ROCK. Our chef, John Sprague, selects a different menu each month. Volunteers from the community help with setup, serving and cleanup.
